We’ve all heard or uttered the phrases, “It’s not even Halloween, you can’t mention the C word for AT LEAST another month,” “I heard Fairytale of New York on the radio today, it’s only bloody November, can you believe it?” “Ah here Brown Thomas, go away with your tree for another few weeks, will ya?” or something in a similar vein.

Christmas starts earlier and earlier each year and this is never more true than when you work in advertising.

Nobody enjoys listening to Christmas jingles in July or trawling through festive jumpers in August. And don’t get us started on trying to find a Christmas tree in the middle of the summer.
