We wanted to make JUST EAT the default place to go when hunger strikes.
So we created a TV spot, an outdoor campaign and a radio commercial all based on the creative thought – Shhh The Hunger.
“JUST EAT has entered into new territory in Ireland, no longer the upstart, challenging the old way of doing things. JUST EAT is now the dominant player in an increasingly competitive market.
Other players, seeing the opportunity, have entered the arena to try to steal our share. So we want to position JUST EAT as THE DEFAULT app/online takeaway service.
We want to make JUST EAT the vernacular for ordering takeaway, just like Hoover became the word for Vacuum Cleaner”.
We figured hunger can actually be dangerous, it can make you grumpy. It can distract you from your work, your friends, and your loved ones.
And the cure?

We are hearing good reports thus far. Judging by the figures to date, JUST EAT are receiving more and more requests for delivery from the nations foodies.
